ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A fish hook is disclosed having multiple curved prongs, with the V between the curved prongs filled such that fishing line cannot lodge in the V and thereby destroy the effectiveness of the hook for catching fish. The V between the curved prongs may be filled by clamping the coextensive shanks of the hook members at a point remote from the curved prongs such that a heat sink is created, and applying heat to the shanks at the area of the V, solder or brazing metal flows towards the area of heat application rather than towards the cooler eyelet and forms a blob in the V. Alternatively, the V between the curved prong portions may be filled with a blob of epoxy or rubber.
