A fish hook comprises a shank (12) terminating at one end in a barbed hook formation (14) and at the other end in a head (16). A hook-closing element (18) which is of resiliently flexible steel wire is mounted on the head (16) and is displaceable between a retracted position in which it lies adjacent the shank, and an extended position in which it extends across the gap between the shank and the tip of the hook formation. A detent pin (28) holds the hook-closing element in the retracted position. When the detent pin is pulled, the hook-closing element is released so that it moves, under action of its bias, from the retracted to the extended position.

L'invention concerne un hameçon comprenant une tige (12) dont l'une des extrémités se termine par un crochet barbelé (14) et l'autre extrémité se termine par une tête (16). Un fermoir (18) en fil d'acier élastiquement souple est fixé à la tête (16) et est mobile entre une position rentrée dans laquelle il se trouve adjacent à la tige, et une position déployée dans lequel il s'étend en travers de l'espace entre la tige et la pointe du crochet. Une goupille de détente (28) permet de maintenir le fermoir en position rentrée. Lorsqu'on tire sur la goupille de détente, le fermoir est libéré et se déplace, sous l'effet de sa sollicitation, depuis sa position rentrée vers sa position déployée.
