A fishing hook and lure carrier that holds a fishing hook ands line in close proximity to the shaft of a fishing rod. The fishing hook and lure carrier employs a pair of interior mating surfaces to internally secure hooks and lures and another pair of mating surfaces to secure the carrier to the shaft of a fishing rod. The fishing hook tote of the present invention eliminates the snaring of clothing and other fabrics by potentially harmful fishing hooks.
