"FISH PLIERS" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The pliers are for gripping fish and comprise a pair of pivot- ally connected opposing jaw members. Each jaw member is integral with a handle member. The inwardly facing surface of each jaw member is provided with smooth corrugations, which intermesh with those of the other jaw member when the jaw members are completely closed. The pliers also include one or more spikes protruding from the working surface of the jaw member. The jaw member opposite the spiked member is formed with an aperture for receiving the spike when the jaws are closed. The combination of the smooth corrugations, the spike member and the receiving aperture provide gripping means to the jaw members while still permitting the jaw members to be substantially closed along their entire length for gripping narrow portions of the fish.
