ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION FISHING DEVICE A fishing line holder is loosely held at a mid-upper part of its elongated body to a stand member adapted to be stuck into the ice, snow or earth adjacent a fishing hole. The holder has a plurality of weight means slidably mounted within it and has fishing line wound around the body of the holder adapted to be unwound by the pull on the line by a fish or the like which pull also disturbs the weights counterbalancing the holder which tips up the holder at its pivot with the stand thereby indicating to a fisherman that a fish is on the line,
