Abstract of the Disclosure A fishing flasher exhibiting enhanced down-flash characteristics includes an elongate, resilient blade having a pair of substantial equal length blade segments extending outward to either side of a fold-line. A line-receiving aperture extends through the blade adjacent the fold-line. The blade segments are constructed and arranged to resiliently deform when drawn through the water to bring trailing portions of the blade segments toward each other. Trailing portions of the blade segments include reflector surfacing on facing sides of the trailing portion which are brought into substantial parallelism with the blade segments deformed while being drawn through a body of water.
