ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a fishing net, and more particularly to a fishing gadget which executes the fast fish-catching technique and possibly the fastest among the known fishing nets. The fishing gadget comprises a net having a wide mouth, a flexible tube connected around the mouth of said net, means for inflating said flexible tube to effect the buoying up of the mouth of said net to the water surface, and including a plurality of rings uniformly spaced apart and secured around the mouth of said net and a hauling cord threaded through said rings for closing the mouth of said net. It may include a control cable, one end of which is secured to the mouth of said net. In another aspect the specification discloses a fishing gadget comprising: a net having a wide mouth, a flexible tube connected around the mouth of said net, said tube having its two ends connected to opposite ends of a metal tube, said metal tube having an inlet valve and an outlet valve, means connected to said inlet valve for inflating said flexible tube to effect the buoying up of the mouth of said net to the water surface, and including a control cable one end of which is secured to said metal tube.
