ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A fishing line connecting device comprises a shank, at least one end of which is provided with a line loosening pre- venting portion and a protrusion at an intermediate portion of the shank. The fishing line is wound around the protrusion and the end portion of the line is passed through the loosening pre- venting portion, whereby the line is tied to the device without the necessity of a tight knot.
