ABSTRACT A deep water fishing lure comprised of a body having a density significantly greater than water, the weight of the lure being greater than the weight of an equal volume of water, a surface wrapping enclosing the body having a fish scale simulating texture, and having at least one ring at an end thereof for attachment to a fishing line. The lure is highly durable for deep sea fishing, is very attractive to fish, and can be used for inland trolling or casting.
