ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A fishing lure comprising an oval body having a spoon-like form and a hook means attached tot he end of the fishing line. Two button members arranged in holes at each end of the body. Each button member comprises a head, a shank and a locking means. The head is provided with an opening, the axis of which being essentially perpendicular to the axis of the shank. A fishing line is introduced through the openings of the heads, the fishing line extending along the body at one side thereof and the body is movable along the fishing line. By this fact it is prevented that the fish can use the body to come loose from the hook means. The opening is connected to the periphery of the head through a slit and the fishing line can be introduced into the opening without loosening the hook means. The button member can be snapped into the hole of the body, whereby a conventional fishing lure easily can be transformed into a sliding fishing lure.
