Abstract of the Disclosure A buoyant artificial fishing lure having a generally oblong configuration and shiny side surfaces is disclosed. This device includes a pair of opposed, elongated recesses, each being disposed within one of the side surfaces, extending along a major portion of the lure between a dorsal portion and a ventral portion thereof. The fishing lure provides emanation of a predetermined fish-attracting wake pattern as an auditory stimulus, as well as visual stimulus attractive to fish from its highly reflective outer surface which is adapted to receive both substantially reflective and non-reflective markings. The predetermined fish-attracting wake pattern is produced by a flange associated with each of the elongated recesses, as the lure is drawn or trolled through a body of water.
