Abstract of the invention A fishing reel with a radio set attached is disclosed which comprises: a radio set insertion holder having a terminal on a side of the circumference of a housing; a radio cover secured to the insertion holder and storing a miniature radio circuit board; a tuning wheel for selecting the broadcasting stations and installed so as for the tuning wheel to be slightly projected through a tuning wheel window; and a connector to be coupled with a receiver and a connecting jack of a solar cell, and secured within an insertion slot. According to the present invention, the fishing person can hear a radio broadcasting at the fishing site even without bringing a separate radio set. ( 6 - 6 )
