ABSTRACT A fishing tackle having a longitudinal axis and comprising an element having a first attachment means whereby a member is attached to the element. The attachment means comprises a passageway in which is retained a part of the member, the attachment means comprising an enlarged portion at one end of a body part of the element and having the passageway therein, the passageway terminating in and extending between open mouths disposed so as to be spaced apart transversely to the axis of the fishing tackle, and the member having a transversely extending part rigid with a body part of the member and having a free end. The transversely extending part projects rigidly from the body part of the member in a predetermined transverse relationship to the axis of the fishing tackle and into the passageway through an open mouth at one end thereof to abut a transverse abutment part provided by an end wall of the passageway and retaining means to retain the transversely extending part in the passageway.
