An Ironing Board Cover having a front, a rear, two sides, a top and a bottom, said cover including a top sheet, a sewn in flexible pad, a nose segment adjacent the front of the cover, a heel segment adjacent the rear of the cover, and two side segments, said segments being attached to one another at seams, and said flexible pad being sewn into the bottom of the top sheet about the circumference of the top sheet; said nose segment, side segment and heel segment being tapered when formed so as to provide when joined with the top sheet a form fit Ironing Board Cover, said heel segment and/or said nose segment including a box pleat for allowing the give of either the heel or the nose segment or both when installing the Ironing Board Cover on an Ironing Board, wherein said box pleat said engineered segments provide for a tight yet flexible fit of the Ironing Board Cover on the Ironing Board and provides a user with a non-stick and flexible surface upon which to iron.
Housse de planche à repasser comportant une partie avant, une partie arrière, deux côtés, une partie supérieure et une partie inférieure. La housse comprend également une toile supérieure, un coussinet flexible cousu, un segment en pointe à la partie avant de la housse, un segment talon à la partie arrière de la housse et deux segments latéraux, lesquels sont tous joints les uns aux autres par des coutures. Le coussinet flexible est cousu sur le côté inférieur de la toile supérieure, sur toute la circonférence de la bordure. Les segments susmentionnés sont profilés de façon à former, lorsqu'ils sont joints à la toile supérieure, une housse épousant la planche à repasser. Le segment en pointe et/ou le segment talon comportent un pli rond pour donner une souplesse à l'un ou à l'autre ou aux deux lorsqu'une personne place la housse sur la planche à repasser. Le pli rond et les segments travaillés permettent d'obtenir un ajustement serré mais flexible de la housse sur la planche à repasser et offrent à l'utilisateur une surface flexible antiadhésive sur laquelle il est possible de repasser des articles.
