2093658 9304310 PCTABS00020 A conduit coupling device includes a tubular casing (13) with front (20) and rear (21) sections of reduced and enlarged diameters. A pair of relatively diametrically movable arcuate clamp members (26, 27) of channel shape with cross webs (28, 33) and flanges (36) is provided, one of the webs (33) having peripherally extending tongues (37) slideably engaging the other clamp member channel. A radial screw (38) engages a tapped bore (23) in the casing rear section and bears on and is clinched to one of the clamp member webs (27), the other clamp member being fixed to the casing (13). A pair of the casings (13) may be integrally coaxially formed and house similar clamp assemblies or the casing (13) may terminate in an externally threaded coupling tube (56) projecting coaxially forward from the casing front section (20).
