The invention relates to a fitting containing a wide fitting part and a lateral fitting part, which are connected by an uncomplicated fastening device, which provides for simple mounting. This is achieved by means of a fastening device comprising essentially a fastening part and a threaded tube. The threaded tube is connected to the fastening part and features outer fastening means, which co-operate with corresponding inner fastening means of the lateral fitting part and thus connect said lateral fitting part flush to the wide fitting part.
