A system provides a charging and a connection for a mobile unit (100). The system includes a housing of a mobile unit that couples to a latch (150). The housing comprises a loop (115) and a panel (170). The loop (115) is disposed on a top portion (105) of the housing and receives a hook of the latch (150). The panel (170) is disposed on a back portion (110) of the housing and receives a corresponding panel (170) of the latch. The panel (150) includes a first set of electrical contacts (130) that couple to a second set of electrical contacts (175) of the corresponding panel (170) to establish an electrical connection.
