ABSTRACT The invention discloses a system for fixing two components together utilising undercut recesses (14) and headed or expandable plugs. Special tools (11) for forming the undercut recesses are disclosed. The undercut recess is formed by forming a straight walled cylindrical recess (12) and then moving the tool laterally to form single or multiple keyways or circular undercut recesses (14).
