The invention concerns polyolefin compositions with high flame resistance. The compositions comprise (percent by weight): A) from 20 to 60 % by weight of a heterophasic olefin polymer composition comprising a crystalline olefin polymer (a) and an elastomeric olefin polymer (b), said composition (A) being optionally modified with at least one functional monomer in an amount from 0.005 % to 0.6 % by weight with respect to the total weight of the total composition; B) from 15 to 40 % by weight of one or more than one inorganic hydrated fillers; C) from 12 to 40 % by weight of one or more than one organic flame retardants containing nitrogen in the molecule; D) from 0 to 40 % by weight of one or more than one inorganic anhydrous fillers. Possible applications include the use as insulating material in electric wires and cables and the use as waterproofing sheets for roofs and tunnels.
L'invention concerne des compositions polyol~finiques ~ r~sistance au feu ~lev~e. Ces compositions contiennent (en pour-cent en poids): A) 20 ~ 60 % en poids d'une composition polymre ol~finique h~t~rophasique contenant un polymre ol~finique cristallin (a) et un polymre ol~finique ~lastomre (b), ladite composition (A) ~tant ~ventuellement modifi~e avec au moins un monomre fonctionnel en dose de 0,005 % ~ 0,6 % en poids par rapport au poids total de la composition totale; B) 15 ~ 40 % en poids d'au moins une matire de charge inorganique hydrat~e; C) 12 ~ 40 % en poids d'au moins une charge ignifugeante organique contenant de l'azote dans la mol~cule; D) 0 ~ 40 % en poids d'au moins une matire de charge inorganique anhydre. L'utilisation de ces compositions comme mat~riau isolant de fils et c~bles ~lectriques et comme feuilles hydrofuges pour toits et tunnels sont parmi leurs applications possibles.
