Abstract of the Disclosure Flameproofing composition comprises an 0,0,0- triester of phosphorous, phosphoric or thiophosphoric acid and a haloalkyl aryl ether, and optionally a chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbon and/or an organic tin or lead compound. The composition is useful for flameproofing polymeric organic materials, especially synthetic poly- meric organic materials, such as polypropylene, which may alternatively be flameproofed by treatment separately with the individual components of the composition.
