Disclosed are flame resistant fabrics and garments having the appearance of denim. In one embodiment, a piece-dyed, flame resistant fabric includes first flame resistant yarns that extend along the fabric in a first direction and second flame resistant yarns that extend along the fabric in a second that is different from the first direction so as to interweave the second flame resistant yarns with the first flame resistant yarns, wherein the first flame resistant yarns are dyed due to the piece dyeing and the second flame resistant yams are substantially undyed to create the denim appearance.
L'invention concerne des tissus et des vêtements ignifuges ayant l'apparence du denim. Dans un mode de réalisation, un tissu teint en pièce et ignifuge comprend des premiers fils ignifuges s'étendant le long du tissu dans une première direction et des seconds fils ignifuges s'étendant le long du tissu dans une seconde direction différente de la première, de manière à entrelacer les seconds fils ignifuges avec les premiers fils ignifuges, ceux-ci étant teints grâce à la teinture en pièce et les seconds fils ignifuges étant sensiblement non teints afin de créer l'apparence du denim.
