The invention relates to mixtures containing a) a polymer which can be produced from ethylene, vinyl acetate and optionally additional monomers, said polymer having a vinyl acetate content ranging between 40 and 85 wt.- %, b) at least one expandable graphite which can be acidic or neutralized, c) at least one mineral filler, d) optionally additional additives. The invention also relates to a method for the production of said polymers, to the use thereof for producing moulded bodies of all types, to flame-resistant intumescent mixtures containing an inventive mixture and additionally to moulded bodies containing an inventive mixture.

L'invention concerne des mélanges contenant : a) un polymère pouvant être obtenu à partir d'éthylène, de vinylacétate et éventuellement d'autres monomères à teneur en vinylacétate de l'ordre de 40 à 85 % en poids ; b) au moins un graphite expansible pouvant être acide ou neutralisé ; c) au moins une charge minérale ; d) éventuellement d'autres additifs. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de préparer lesdits mélanges, leur utilisation pour produire des corps moulés de toutes sortes, ainsi que des mélanges intumescents ignifuges contenant un mélange selon l'invention, ainsi que des corps moulés contenant un mélange selon l'invention.
