The invention relates to flame-resistant plastics molding compositions of improved stability to light comprising 50 to 80% by weight of a polymer or a polymer mixture, 15 to 50% by weight of one or more flameproofing agents based on ammonium polyphosphate, up to 2.0% by weight of one or more UV absorbers or light stabilizers, based on the polymer content of the total mixture, and, if appropriate, up to 80% by weight of fillers and reinforcing agents, and/or up to 10% by weight of further additives, and to a process for the preparation thereof and the use thereof for the production of moldings of improved stability to light which have been provided with a flame- resistant treatment.
