A non-dripping, flame retardant heat-shrinkable composition consisting essentially of at least one semi-crystalline polymer selected from the group consisting of ethylene vinyl acetate, ethylene ethyl acetate, and low density polyethylene, at least 0.5 % melamime pyrophosphate, a halogenated flame retardant, and an additive consisting of alkaline earth metal oxides and hydroxides, silicone dioxide, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide aluminum oxide, aluminum oxide trihydrate, antimony oxide and the like.

L'invention concerne une composition thermorétractable retardatrice de combustion ne gouttant pas, qui est constituée principalement d'au moins un polymère semi-cristallin sélectionné dans le groupe formé par un éthylène vinyle acétate, un éthylène éthyl acétate, et un polyéthylène basse densité; d'au moins 0,5 % de pyrophosphate de mélamine; d'un agent retardateur de combustion halogéné et d'un additif constitué d'oxydes et d'hydroxydes de métaux alcalino-terreux, de dioxyde de silicone, de dioxyde de titane, d'oxyde de zinc/oxyde d'aluminium, d'oxyde d'aluminium trihydraté, d'oxyde d'antimoine et analogue.
