Abstract of the disclosure: A resin composition containing a polyphenylene ether or its copolymer graft polymerized with styrene compounds and a styrene type polymer is blended with a halogenated aromatic compound together with a non- crystalline ethylene-propylene copolymer to give a flame-retardant resin composition which is free from degradation in mechanical properties and can exhibit additional effects of good coloration characteristic and excellent crack-resistance around metal insert.
