FLAME RETARDANT POLYURETHANE FOAM Abstract of the Disclosure The incorporation of a copolymer of vinyl chloride and a bis(hydrocarbyl) vinylphosphate, e.g., bis(beta-chloroethyl) vinylphosphate, in a polyurethane foam formulation confers flame retardancy on the foam and lessens discoloration that occurs when the foam is formed.
