ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A flame retarding resin composition comprising a mix- ture in specific ratios of polypropylene, polyethylene, in- organic filler and a flame retardant is disclosed. The organic resin can be used to construct fire resistant items as for example thin mouldings for use in electrical machinery and appliances that will have a high burning resistance and will not be subject to the problem of fusion dropping at conbustion temperatures.
