Abstract FLAMERETARDING RESIN COMPOSITIONS Flameretarding resin compositions are prepared by blending polyphenylene ether resins, polyamide resins, and halogenated bisphenol epoxy compounds as flameretarding agents, together with compatibilizing agents, fillers, rubber materials, and antimony compounds. Blending amount of the flameretarding agent is 5-150 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the total amount of the both resins mentioned above. Epoxy equivalent of the halogenated bisphenol epoxy compounds is more than 5,000, preferably not less than 7,000, more preferably not less than 10,000.
