A flange alignment tool adapted to facilitate and connect flanged pipes comprising a body portion having first and second spaced apart generally parallel arm members, said members being linked together to form a coil-like first end resulting in said members being reciprocally movable relative to one another, and alignment means located at a second end comprised of a flat elongated curved first member and a spherical second member. Said first and second members are spaced apart for positioning with through apertures in the flange.
