Apparatus for forming a panel to a predetermined cross dimension by flangers which form flanges on the opposite side edges of the panel. The flangers are movable toward and away from advanced positions in which to form the flanges. The advanced positions can be adjusted depending on the cross dimension desired. The flangers can be retracted to permit loading and unloading of panels. Forming units are also provided to form tabs on an end of the panel.

Dispositif de formage d'un panneau selon une dimension transversale prédéterminée au moyen de dispositifs de bordage qui forment des collerettes sur les bords latéraux opposés du panneau. Les dispositifs de bordage sont mobiles afin de s'approcher et de s'éloigner des positions avancées où ils forment les collerettes. Les positions avancées peuvent être réglées d'après la dimension transversale voulue. Les dispositifs de bordage peuvent être rentrés pour permettre le chargement et le déchargement des panneaux. Des unités de formage permettent aussi de constituer des languettes sur l'extrémité du panneau.
