A flashing structure for mounting onto a roof surface and used for receiving shingles. The flashing structure includes a first drainage channel extending longitudinally along the flashing structure. The flashing structure also includes a securing lip positioned over the first drainage channel and extending along the same, a gap being defined between the securing lip and the first drainage channel, the gap being shaped and sized for receiving the shingles. The flashing structure also includes a second drainage channel extending longitudinally along the flashing structure, the second drainage channel being fluidly connected to the first drainage channel. These features can be adapted to various flashings used in the metal roofing industry, including, but not limited to gable-end flashings, end-wall flashings, and valley flashings, as well as other related flashing structures.
L'invention concerne une structure de solin mural destinée à être montée sur une surface de toiture et utilisée pour recevoir des bardeaux. La structure solin comprend un premier canal de drainage s'étendant dans le sens longitudinal. La structure solin comprend également une lèvre de sécurité placée au-dessus du premier canal de drainage et s'étendant le long de ce canal, un jeu étant défini entre la lèvre de sécurité et le premier canal de drainage, ce jeu étant formé et dimensionné pour recevoir les bardeaux. La structure solin comprend également un deuxième canal de drainage s'étendant dans le sens longitudinal, le deuxième canal de drainage étant en liaison fluidique avec le premier canal de drainage. Ces dispositifs peuvent être adaptés à divers solins utilisés dans l'industrie des couvertures métalliques, y compris mais pas de façon exclusive, aux solins de pignons, aux solins de murs d'extrémité et aux solins de noue ainsi qu'à d'autres structures de solins assimilées.
