ABSTRACT Trading style : SEB S.A. Flat electrical resistance heating element and heating article comprising such element (Invention of Bernard LOUISON and Jean HENNUY) The flat electrical resistance heating element comprises a heating resistance cut out from a metal sheet which is embedded in a substrate of electrically insulating material, resistant to the intended heating temperature and adhering to the metal sheet. Said metal sheet is sandwiched between two layers of an electrically insulating material impregnated with a resin which is polymerisable under the action of heat, the bonding between said metal sheet and each one of the two layers on the one hand, between the two layers on the other hand, being obtained by polymerisation of the resin when the sandwich formed by the metal sheet between the two layers is heated at a temperature and during a period of time which are sufficient for provoking said polymerisation.
