The invention relates to a flat lighting device (8; 32) comprising an aperture fluorescent lamp (33), an optical system (10; 34) and a light-conducting plate (11; 35). The optical system (10; 34) influences the distribution of the light to be coupled into the light-conducting plate in a targeted manner such that in the cross-sectional plane of the tubular discharge vessel of the lamp the light distribution has at least one maximum in the angular separation (.beta., in relation to the optical axis A, where said angular separation (.beta. satisfies the relationship (I), in which L is the longitudinal dimension of the light-conducting plate (i.e. its dimension in the direction of the optical axis A and d is the thickness of said plate. In this way a high luminance is obtained at the front side (39) of the light-conducting plate.
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'éclairage plat (8; 32) comprenant une lampe fluorescente à ouverture (33), un système optique (10; 34) et une plaque conductrice de lumière (11; 35). Le système optique (10; 34) agit de manière ciblée sur la répartition de la lumière à injecter dans la plaque conductrice de lumière de telle façon que, vu dans le plan de section de l'enveloppe tubulaire de la lampe, la répartition de la lumière présente au moins un maximum dans la distance angulaire beta , mesuré vers l'axe optique A, sachant que la distance angulaire beta satisfait à la relation (I) où L représente la longueur de la plaque conductrice de lumière (c'est-à-dire son extension en direction de l'axe optique A et d son épaisseur. On obtient ainsi une luminance élevée sur la face frontale (39) de la plaque conductrice de lumière.
