The present invention relates to a sheet steel product and a process for producing it, which is formed by a steel substrate such as a steel strip or sheet and a zinc-based anticorrosion coating containing (in % by weight) Mg: 0.25-2.5%, Al: 0.2-3.0%, Fe <= 4.0% and, if desired, a total of up to 0.8% of one or more elements from the group consisting of ~Pb, Bi, Cd, Ti, B, Si, Cu, Ni, Co, Cr, Mn, Sn and rare earths~, balance zinc and unavoidable impurities applied to at least one side of the steel substrate, with the anticorrosion coating having, in an intermediate layer which extends between a surface layer directly adjoining the surface of the sheet steel product and a boundary layer adjoining the steel substrate and whose thickness is at least 20% of the total thickness of the anticorrosion coating, an Al content of not more than 0.5% by weight. The sheet steel product of the invention has an optimal combination of high corrosion resistance and optimized weldability and is particularly suitable for use as material for automobile body construction, for general building purposes or for construction of household appliances.
La présente invention concerne un produit plat en acier et son procédé de fabrication, ledit produit étant formé à partir d'un substrat en acier, tel qu'une bande ou une plaque en acier, et d'un revêtement anti-corrosif à base de zinc disposé sur au moins un côté du substrat en acier, ledit revêtement comprenant (en % en poids) Mg : 0,25 - 2,5 %, Al : 0,2 - 3,0 %, Fe = 4,0 %, ainsi qu'éventuellement une somme pouvant atteindre 0,8 % d'un ou de plusieurs éléments du groupe Pb, Bi, Cd, Ti, B, Si, Cu, Ni, Co, Cr, Mn, Sn et composés de terres rares, le reste étant du zinc et d'inévitables impuretés, le revêtement anti-corrosif formant une couche intermédiaire, située entre une couche de surface, directement adjacente à la surface du produit plat en acier, et une couche limite adjacente au substrat en acier, son épaisseur représentant au moins 20 % de l'épaisseur totale du revêtement anti-corrosif et le revêtement présentant une teneur en Al d'au plus 0,5 % en poids. Le produit plat en acier selon l'invention présente une combinaison optimale d'une résistance élevée à la corrosion et d'une soudabilité optimale, et est utile notamment en tant que matériau pour la fabrication de carrosseries automobiles, à des fins de construction ou pour la fabrication d'appareils ménagers.
