The invention concerns a method of producing a multi-layered flat fibrous structure (1) which comprises a wearing layer (2), a carrier layer (3) and optionally further layers (10, 11). According to the invention, the carrier layer (3) is first produced from a multi-layered non-woven fabric in a mechanical non-woven-formation device, the elements (4, 5, 6) forming the wearing layer (2) then being applied to the carrier layer (3). Before application, the distribution of the elements (4, 5, 6), which differ in terms of their geometrical shape, is standardized such that the wearing layer (2) is substantially repeat-free. The elements (4, 5, 6) forming the wearing layer (2) are then joined at least to the carrier layer (3).

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de réaliser un produit (1) plat multicouche en fibres, comportant une couche d'usure (2), une couche support (3) et éventuellement d'autres couches (10, 11). Selon ce procédé, on réalise d'abord la couche support (3) dans un non-tissé multicouche, dans un dispositif mécanique de formation de non-tissé. Les éléments (4, 5, 6) formant la couche d'usure (2) sont ensuite appliqués sur la couche support (3). Les éléments (4, 5, 6) qui se différencient par leur forme géométrique sont harmonisés en vue de leur répartition, de manière que la couche d'usure (2) soit sensiblement sans rapport de motif. Les éléments (4, 5, 6) qui constituent la couche d'usure (2) sont ensuite réunis au moins avec la couche support (3).
