The invention relates to a flat transponder comprising an electronic circuit (3) which is arranged in a layer or in a layer composite, said circuit containing at least one chip and conductor tracks (2) or conductor wires, in addition to method for the production thereof. The invention also relates to a transponder of the above-mentioned type and to a method for the production thereof, which is flexible, has an even thickness and can be stuck to additional elements by means of a water-based adhesion. The electronic components thereof are extensively protected against damage from bending and touching. The aim of the invention is to produce a transponder whereby the circuit is arranged in or on a circuit support (7) made of plastic, wherein a paper layer (6) is arranged on the two larger opposite-lying outer surfaces thereof, said paper layer being applied by lamination.

L'invention se rapporte à un transpondeur plat comprenant un circuit électronique (3) monocouche ou multicouche qui contient au moins une puce et des tracés conducteurs (2) ou des fils conducteurs, ainsi qu'à un procédé de production de ce transpondeur plat. L'objectif de cette invention est de concevoir un transpondeur flexible dont l'épaisseur est la plus homogène possible, qui peut être collé avec d'autres éléments à l'aide d'un adhésif à base d'eau, et dont les composants électroniques sont protégés dans une large mesure contre les dégradations engendrées par pliage, et contre tout contact, et de créer un procédé de production de ce transpondeur. A cet effet, le circuit du tranpondeur est disposé sur ou dans un porte-circuit (7) en plastique, et une couche de papier (6) est appliquée par stratification sur les deux plus grandes surfaces extérieures opposées de ce porte-circuit.
