A flexible bag (10) comprises flexible sheet material assembled to form a semi-enclosed container having an opening. The bag has a drawtape closure for sealing the opening. The sheet material (52) of the drawtape closure exhibits elastic- like behavior along at least one axis. The sheet material of the drawtape closure comprises a first region (64) and a second region (66). The first region and said second region are comprised of the same material composition and each has an untensioned projected pathlength. The first region undergoes a substantially molecular- level deformation and the second region initially undergoes a substantially geometric deformation when the sheet material is subjected to an applied elongation in a direction substantially parallel to an axis in response to an externally- applied force upon the sheet material of the drawtape closure.
La présente invention concerne un sac souple (10) comprenant un matériau de feuille souple assemblé pour former un contenant semi-enfermé présentant une ouverture. Le sac présente une fermeture à bande de serrage destinée à fermer de manière étanche l'ouverture. Le matériau formant feuille (52) de la fermeture à bande de serrage a un comportement de type élastique le long d'au moins un axe. Le matériau formant feuille de la fermeture à bande de serrage comprend une première région (64) et une seconde région (66). La première région et ladite seconde région présentent la même composition de matériau et chacune présente une longueur de parcours projetée non tendue. La première région subit une déformation sensible au niveau moléculaire et la seconde région subit initialement une déformation sensiblement géométrique lorsque le matériau formant feuille est allongé dans une direction sensiblement parallèle à un axe en réponse à une force appliquée à l'extérieur sur le matériau formant feuille de la fermeture à bande de serrage.
