ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A two-part flexible coupling is disclosed wherein, one of the parts has at least a portion projecting into the other. The two parts are limited for power transmission by means of pre-compressed resilient elements such as rubber balls that are almost completely surrounded by the coupling parts. To avoid an eccentric misalignment of the coupling parts at least one of the mutually opposed surfaces of the two parts is formed with a longitudinal curvature, preferably spherical. The surface is arranged to contact the opposing surface of the other part along a circumferential line interrupted by the pockets for the resilient elements.
