A harvesting header (40) has a header frame (42) and a flexible cutterbar assembly (48) mounted to the header frame to extend lengthwise in a lateral direction relative to the normal direction of travel of the header. The cutterbar assembly is supported on a plurality of laterally spaced apart support arms (44, 46) which are pivotally coupled to the frame for swinging movement about a laterally extending axis so that the flexible cutterbar assembly is operable to flex along the length thereof in re-sponse to changes in terrain as the header is advanced. A draper assembly (50) is supported on the header frame behind the cutter-bar assembly to flex therewith. A cutterbar drive (112) is provided which has a drive shaft (116) and a forward gearbox (120) driv-ingly connected between the drive shaft and the cutterbar assembly to provide driving power from the drive shaft to the cutterbar assembly. The forward gearbox is supported on the outer support arm (46) adjacent the cutterbar assembly so that the forward gearbox shifts with the flexible cutterbar assembly.
L'invention concerne un collecteur de récolte (40) présentant une ossature de collecteur (42) et un ensemble barre de coupe souple (48) monté sur l'ossature de collecteur (42) pour s'étendre longitudinalement dans la direction de course normale du collecteur. L'ensemble barre de coupe (48) est soutenu sur plusieurs bras de support séparés (44, 46) latéralement espacés, qui sont accouplés pivotants à l'ossature pour permettre un mouvement pivotant autour d'un axe s'étendant latéralement, de sorte que l'ensemble de barre de coupe souple peut fléchir le long de sa propre longueur, en réaction à des modifications de terrain, pendant que le collecteur avance. Un ensemble convoyeur à toile (50) est soutenu sur l'ossature de collecteur, derrière l'ensemble barre de coupe, pour fléchir avec ce dernier. Un entraînement de barre de coupe (112) présente un arbre d'entraînement (116) et une boîte de vitesses avant (120) reliée par entraînement entre l'arbre d'entraînement et l'ensemble de barre de coupe, pour fournir une puissance d'entraînement de l'arbre d'entraînement à l'ensemble barre de coupe. La boîte de vitesse avant est soutenue sur le bras de support extérieur (46) adjacent à l'ensemble barre de coupe, de sorte que la boîte de vitesse avant se décale conjointement à l'ensemble barre de coupe.
