A flexible drill stem consisting of plural concentric, dissimilar, metal coil spring elements separated by plural annular ring and air gaps, while sharing an innermost center bore conduit, and connected to coupler ends. One coupler end is connected to a rotary drive urge source while the opposite coupler end is connected to a drill bit for advancement into distant reservoirs and reserves adjacent to earthen boreholes and well bores. The device includes coil spring entanglement limiting means for enabling long distance extension drilling without mechanical failure so to greatly enlarge the producing formation interface and perimeter. The device includes a combination of torsional elements along with annular rings and specified air gap spacing to improve acute bending capabilities. Furthermore, the device includes several rescue human life attributes which enable extension of effective passages to penetrate collapsed mines, tunnels and shafts while providing emergency air, water and communications. Finally, the device includes emergency hydrocarbon producing means for increasing Canadian domestic hydrocarbon production during national oil supply shortages threatening National Security.
