ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A flexible element for heating or temperature measurement. It is made on a continuous basis so that desired lengths can be cut from it, and comprises electrically insulated feeder lines and a heating or measuring line interwoven with the feeder lines and looping around them individually at least partially, or being helically arranged around stranded together feeder lines. There are discrete locations from which the insulation of the feeder lines has been removed and making contact with the heating or measuring conductor.
