An assembly for effecting a quick connect of a flexible fluid delivery tube to a rigid dip tube for a liquid sprayer is provided. The assembly is mounted to a container of chemical liquid to be sprayed by a closure cap having a depending annular wall defining a cavity into which an adaptor for the delivery tube extends and is snap fitted in place by the provision of a retention feature coacting between a nipple of the adaptor and the annular wall. A vent port located in the annular wall in the vicinity of the coacting retention feature with an air gap provided between the vent port and the upper surface of the closure end wall. Alternatively, the vent port is located in the end wall of the closure. A cover is provided for sealing closed both the inlet opening from the container and the vent port in a condition of non-use.
L'invention concerne un ensemble permettant de raccorder rapidement un tube d'apport de fluide flexible à un tube immergé rigide, et qui est destiné à un pulvérisateur de liquide. L'ensemble est monté sur un contenant de liquide chimique devant être pulvérisé par l'intermédiaire d'un capuchon ; ce dernier comporte une paroi annulaire dépendante qui définit une cavité, dans laquelle se déploie un adaptateur destiné au tube d'apport et qu'on insère par emboîtement-pression, grâce à un élément de retenue coopérant entre un téton de l'adaptateur et la paroi annulaire. Un orifice d'aération se situe dans la paroi annulaire, à proximité de l'élément de retenue, un espace d'air étant prévu entre l'orifice d'aération et la surface supérieure de la paroi d'extrémité de fermeture. Dans une autre forme de réalisation, l'orifice d'aération se situe dans la paroi d'extrémité de la fermeture. En cas de non-utilisation, un couvercle prévu permet de fermer hermétiquement l'ouverture d'entrée du contenant ainsi que l'orifice d'aération.
