ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A stringer strip for tennis rackets, is provided with an expansion section between each pair of string protect- ing sleeves. Thus, the protecting sleeves may, in a simple manner, be made to coincide positionally with boreholes for strings to be pulled through the frame of a racket. In pre- ferred embodiments the expansion sections are formed by waves lying in the plane of the strip or by waves extending normal thereto.
