A B S T R A C T A flexible layer switch with a flexible tail carrying leads for connection to external circuitry, the tail being bent downward inside the edge of the switch to permit a peripheral seal to be effected between the switch and an underlying frame and being integral with an upper layer and extending through slots in the lower layers to improve switch integrity.
