CASE 1305 FLEXIBLE METAL COUPLING FOR JOINING UNDERWATER PIPES LAID AT GREAT DEPTH ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pliable metallic joint is disclosed, for underwater pipelines laid at great depths, which essentially consists of a bellows-like section of a pliable metal or alloy, which is externally reinforced by a sturdy metal wire coiling positioned in the valleys of the waves of said bellows and is internally reinforced by interlockingly arranged split rings header collars being welded to the ends of the bel- lows and to the end portions of the pipeline trunks to be conjoined together.
