13 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a flexible metal sealing joint comprising an elastic metal core which, in the rest position, is shaped like a torus, as well as at least one outer envelope made from a ductile material. Within its thickness, the outer envelope has two substantially planar bearing surfaces and at least one projecting portion with a substantially triangular cross-section formed on each of the bearing surfaces. The dimensions of the projecting portions are such that said portions are expendable, i.e. they disappear at the end of fixing.
