Nonhalogen-Containing Thermoplastic Polyolefin blends are provided which are flexible and are particularly useful in replacing polyvinyl chloride sheeting used as roofing liners. The blends comprise, in general, (1) ethylene vinyl acetate, (2) very low density polyethylene, (3) ethylene vinyl acetate carbon monoxide terpolymer and optionally contains (4) a compatibilizer blend comprising (i) a polar olefinic polymer and (ii) a non-polar olefinic polymer; all of which are chlorine free.
Mélanges de polyoléfines thermoplastiques souples ne renfermant pas d'halogènes, qui se révèlent particulièrement utiles pour remplacer les revêtements en chlorure de polyvinyle utilisés pour le chemisage des toitures. Ces mélanges renferment, en général, (1) de l'éthylène-acétate de vinyle, (2) un polyéthylène à très basse densité, (3) un terpolymère de monoxyde de carbone d'éthylène-acétate de vinyle et, facultativement, un mélange compatibilisateur renfermant (i) un polymère oléfine polaire et (ii) un polymère oléfine non polaire; tous ces composants étant exempts de chlore.
