ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for tensioning a movable flexible panel, particularly the canopy of a shade, having one end connected to a reel and the other end connected to at least one flexible pulling tie. Each of the ties is linked to a tensioning element so that the flexible panel is continuously under stress in the direction in which it unwinds, and thus, counters the action of a winding device connected to the reel. The tensioning element is connected to the pulling tie via a translatably movable slide mounted in a slide channel, and includes a device for rotatably locking the slide consisting of ribs which define the slide channel.
