A flexible hanging planter for growing floral plants comprising a sheet of plastic material having a plurality of slits cut in one quadrant of the sheet. The sheet is folded over and sealed along two edges thereof forming a bag portion having an open and closed end. The plurality of slits are at said closed end. A handle is bonded to the bag portion at the open end. The bag is adapted for receiving growing media and the plurality of slits are adapted to receive a plurality of seed plugs to be retained within the growing media and the handle is adapted to support the bag and growing media in a hanging condition.
