Flexible plastic tubing construction (109) adapted for receiving a contents such as multi-fiber optical cables used in air blown fiber (ABF) installations. The tubing is formed as having a first sidewall segment (20) formed of a first polymeric material which is generally opaque, and a second sidewall segment (22) formed integrally with the first sidewall segment of a second polymeric material which is generally transparent. The second sidewall segment has an axial inner (36) surface which defines at least a portion of the innermost surface of the tubing (16), and an axial outer surface (34) which defines a portion of the outermost surface of the tubing (14). The inner and outer surfaces further define a window tubing (14). The inner and outer surfaces further define a window (40) therebetween through the thickness dimension of the tubing sidewall, with the contents of the tubing being viewable through the window.
Cette invention se rapporte à une structure de tubage en plastique souple (109) destinée à recevoir comme contenu par exemple des câbles optiques multifibres utilisés dans des installations de fibres soufflées à l'air (ABF). Ce tubage est formé de façon à comporter un premier segment de paroi latérale (20) constitué d'un premier matériau polymère généralement opaque, et un second segment de paroi latérale (22) constitué solidaire du premier segment de paroi latérale en un second matériau polymère généralement transparent. Le second segment de paroi latérale possède une surface interne axiale (36) qui définit au moins une partie de la surface la plus interne du tubage (16), et une surface externe axiale (34) qui définit une partie de la surface la plus externe du tubage (14). Ces surfaces interne et externe définissent en outre entre elles une fenêtre (40) dans l'épaisseur de la paroi latérale du tubage, le contenu du tubage étant visible à travers cette fenêtre.
